"Hoping for quality over quantity. Would rather have a smaller league of good teams than a bunch of sub-par teams."
Today's interview is brought to you by SoccerElf.com. SoccerElf.com is a brand new website dedicated to helping people all across the United States find the nearest pick up game. If you can't find one near you, guess what? You can create one. Right now, it's still the early stages, so AP has partnered with them to help get the word out, get more people on the site, and get more games going everywhere! The more chances to play, the more people will play. And the more people who play, the more the game grows.
Good morning AP readers! Congrats on your decision via the Twitter poll earlier this week, now you get to read about 2016 US Open Cup participants Southie FC! If you don't like the fact you're reading this interview, don't forget to vote in the next poll. That will be coming out two Monday's from now.
Southie FC are from Boston, Mass, and recently competed in the US Open Cup, losing in the second round to the Rochester Rhinos of the United Soccer League. Sean Bakhtiari talks about the difficulties of playing midweek games as an amateur outfit, the changing landscape of the soccer league in Massachusetts, and the secret beach of Boston. Check it out.
"Getting a berth in the US Open Cup was a surprise but one we felt we earned. We are very excited for the competition, and hoping for a run."

Welcome back to the Pyramid faithful readers! Today's interview is a special one. Several weeks ago I got to interview Chris Hockman at Corinthians FC in San Antonio. Now, I normally put interviews out on Thursday's, but since Corinthians is playing NXT Rayados in the US Open Cup tonight, I wanted to treat everyone and get this out a day early. Check it out.
Well hello faithful readers, welcome to a special edition AP article! In case you missed it, I'm going to recap what went down earlier today in the drawing for the first round of games in the US Open Cup, which currently involves teams from the National Premier Soccer League, Premier Development League, and other local leagues from further 'down' the Pyramid, some of whom I've interviewed. Check it out.
Welcome back to the Pyramid lades and gentlemen! We're just a couple of days away from the start of the 2016 MLS Season! Not only that, but the NASL and USL season openers are drawing closer too! I guess it's just soccer in general that's ramping up here in the good old US of A. Today is the last interview I'm releasing based on my Twitter poll at the start of February. That's right. If you follow the page on Twitter, you actually get to vote on what interview you want to read first! Here at American Pyramid, we love interaction.
Today's interview is with Jonathan Gardner of Burlingame Dragons FC. Burlingame is town in California, and the Dragons are the San Jose Earthquakes PDL affiliate. They also have a sweet logo, with one of the few good examples of how to do a soccer ball on logo. Jonathan was kind enough to actually take time on his vacation to do this interview, and not only that, he answered all the questions in one day! Check it out.
